ABC's, no wait....Twinkle Twinkle....

Since being at School "wif all fwiends" (this is Carson-speak for daycare with all of his friends), he has been singing his abc's and other random songs constantly. We FINALLy caught him on video singing his abc's, and towards the end, he did switch it up a bit. Mind you, he was all doped up on tylenol from getting his 2 year molars, and he does have a stuff nose.

Twinkle Twinkle little star now is this endless loop for 5 minutes of singing, instead of ending the song, he normally keeps going. He is SO smart.

Adam and I were doing everything we could not to crack up laughing.

Back to work...

So, I am back to work now and don't exactly have loads of time to update anymore. But, I promise you that this weekend there will be some new pictures and stuff! I PROMISE!



I've only been here a week, but am getting into the swing of things. My job title is long and what I do doesn't fully make sense to most (I work in two-three separate office buildings for 3 different companies, but in reality, 1 main company). I love it though, I love being busy, being challenged...and the adult interaction! So that is awesome!



Carson loves Melanie and Steve, LOVES them. I couldn't express how much he talks about them, wants to be with them, or the tantrums that he throws when we have to leave. They are worth every penny...seriously. He came home on Wednesday singing the abc's, and he'd never done that before. Mind you, he does skip e, j, k...but hey, it's the alphabet! He's so smart! He loves all his friends and was asked by Quinn (a 3 year old girl) if he could be her best friend this morning. Of course he said yes. He loves Quinn.



The commute isn't that great, I'll know more better next week when I work normal hours. But, so far, it takes about 30 minutes to get to daycare from Monroe, and another 15 minutes to get to work from there. Home, it takes an hour and ten minutes total. Not too bad...but Melanie and Steve are so worth driving the extra time. Plus, I carpool the entire way, so I'm good with that!

Family Reunion!

In July we went over to Wenatchee for the annual (or not, it's really every few years...) Sannes Family Reunion! We drove over that Saturday, and drove home that Sunday, but it was a perfect weekend, the weather was warm and perfect....Since it's been forever, here are some pictures :)

2nd Birthday Party

The 26th of June was Carson's birthday party. We didn't have many people that were coming, but we felt that it's always important to celebrate birthdays! Adam's Aunt Kris was nice enough to let us borrow her huge bounce house, and Carson and the other kids LOVED it! The party was pretty much family, and some of Carson's cousins, whom he loves. We didn't get pictures before eating cake, we were all too busy socializing, showing off our house, and playing!

It was honestly a great party! Perfect weather, about 75 out, and sunny. The food was awesome, I made pulled pork, and it turned out fantastic! Adam and I were proud to show off our house, as this was the first time most people had seen it. So it was a great day, and we were lucky to share it with close family and friends!

Carson Ray is TWO!!

On June 19th, 2010, at 2:16 am. Carson Ray turned 2 years old! I cannot believe it has been two years since he was born - the time definitely flew by! The morning of his birthday, I walked into his room to get the usual morning "birthday picture". This is what I walked into...

He was just a *little* excited...

We started the day by having him open presents from some of the family that wasn't able to be there for his party the next weekend...

He uses his Toy Story plate and silverware daily..

He got some great stuff! He is totally obsessed with Toy Story, and loves his PJ's, plate and silverware set from Jackie. He also loves his Hawaiian outfit from Gigi and Poppie.

We decided to take him to the zoo. We were somewhat worried about the weather, as it was slightly cold out, but luckily it did not rain!!

He wasn't too fond of the lion, wouldn't really even go near it...

He kept asking to ride the baby elephant...he loved it.

We got to see one of the Elephants in the Elephant barn. It was pretty cool to see it up close. Of course Carson saw it pooping and was OBSESSED with it. He now says he poops like an "ephent". Great :)

We also got to go and have him feed the birds. We paid $1 and he got to feed the birds off of a stick. He went NUTS for it. LOVED it! I was deathly afraid of being pooped on, as these things fly above you.

His favorite thing? The Carousel. He road it twice, and didn't want to get off!

We also got to pet some baby goats. He loved them and was so gentle! I was proud!

He would whisper around the goats saying "be nice" over and over. I guess we say that to him a lot when he's petting Parker?

Afterwards, we went and had Pizza for dinner - of course Carson had fun :) He also was wearing his birthday shirt :) (It says "Carson" with a 2 underneath)

When we got home, he was able to open some gifts from us. He got a Tshirt with Yoda on it (his obsession) and a shirt with a lion on it. He also got a new bike!

Of course, the next day, I had to put the bike together and he was off riding it.

Eating his birthday cupcake was interesting. He knew to blow out the candles, and loved getting "Happy Birthday" sung to him!

So all in all, it was a great day! We are so lucky to have such a smart, well-behaved little boy. He's no longer a baby, but he'll always be our baby :)

Carson just got back from the doctor today for his 2 year check up.

His weight: 25lbs 13oz (23%)

Length: 33.75 inches (33%)

Head: 19 inches (50th %)

He is growing, which is obvious, but great. I must admit, I love our pediatrician. She is always great, and Carson adores her, which is nice! The nurses also loved him, loved talking to him, and of course he was showing off his skills. They were all amazed at how clearly and how much he talks! He speaks in almost full sentences now, and you can understand every word he says.

I'm so proud of him! He did get two shots, but cried for a second until we distracted him with stickers.

New Babies!

My Brother Jerad and sister-in-law, Lisa welcomed their Daughter, Molly Sophia on June 17th at 9:35pm. She was 8lbs, 4oz, and 19 inches long. We got to visit them on Friday, the 18th....and she is adorable! Carson loved her and kept petting her head, saying "baby Mony (Molly)" over and over. Here are some pictures from our visit.

She was a perfect angel while we were there, didn't cry....just slept and occasionally would open her eyes! We are excited about the newest addition to our big, crazy family!!
