Busy busy busy

Time is flying by, and it's crazy that Carson has spent 9 months on the "outside"!! He is almost 1 year old, and that just blows my mind. Because of our business, we haven't really had time to write. I hate this, and want to document as much of Carson's life as possible, so it is my goal to do this once a week! So this is just catch up for now.

Attack of the Orange Nosed Baby! Aahhhhhhhhhh!

Carson has had many get togethers with family. It was sad when my parents left for Hawaii at the end of February, but Carson got lots of Grandma Pam and Grandpa Dave time in beforehand, and Adam got some golfing time in with Dave (and they both froze their butts off!)

The beginning of March, Adam's parents came over from Wenatchee to hang out, see the great grandchild Carson, give him some love and celebrate an early St Patricks day. Carson really enjoys seeing Dorene and Wayne! We just relaxed at Scott and Sarah's while they were here.

For St Patricks day, we spent that Sunday at Steve and Paula's house. It was great, Paula made an amazing Corned Beef and Cabbage. Carson even got in on the action and LOVED it. He'll pretty much eat anything we give him, but he did go nuts for that Corned beef! It was great spending time with the family, all the cousins got to hang out, and Aunt Tina and Eric got to give the baby some loves.

On the 16th, we visited with Brad and Katie, who came over with their boys, Eli and Aiden from the Tri-Cities. We went over to Dan's house (Brad's brother), and relaxed. There were lots of boys in the house, as Dan's wife's sister (complicated much?) had their newborn baby over! But, it was fun to catch up with everyone, and Carson got to crawl around!

That week Carson turned 9 months and he had his doctor appointment with his new pediatrician. At the office they have this HUGE fish tank, he absolutely loved it. Of course he wanted to hit the tank, but it was so cute.


Adam's parents came over for a car show at the XXX in Issaquah, and we got to spend some time with them. The show, we found out wasn't until the next day, but that didn't stop them from seeing Carson, then hitting the Snoqualmie Casino up for some BIG Winnings! The car show was interesting, as there were so many old volkswagens there! Carson loves crowds of people, so he was having fun as well, even though it was bitter cold outside!

My parents came back from Hawaii this week, so it was great spending time with them this weekend! Carson and I drove down to Issaquah yesterday and just hung out with them. Carson showed off all of his new moves, and was into everything! I think they both loved it though.


So that's about it! Carson is slowly getting moved over to formula now. It's easier on me, and he is taking to it really well. Adam and I both hope that this will also help with some weight gain. We have an Easter egg hunt coming up, and Nolan turning 3 :) We are all doing really really well though, and you'll be hearing from us in a week, promise!

Lots of new things!

He loves his playpen!

I thought I'd give an update as to what new things are going on with Carson...then I'll update all the other stuff!

Carson has 4 teeth, and is getting a 5th one is at the moment. He has his two top middle teeth and his two bottom middle teeth.

His second tooth (bottom right), came in on 2/26. He was really good about it. One day it wasn't there, the next it was.

Third tooth (top left), came in on 3/10.

Fourth tooth (top right), came in on 3/19.

He now makes what we call his "old man face", and he's feeling his teeth and mashing them together. It is incredibly adorable, if he's not smiling, he's doing this.

Carson transitions from table to couch, to toys. He is now fond of crawling OVER objects, and does not let anything get in his way. A pile of shoes does not stop him from crawling to something. He just crawls over it, like they were never there.

He says "MAMAMAMAMA" all the time now! I love it. I know he really doesn't know what it means, along with "DADADADA", but it's still nice to hear!

He goes nuts for puffs. He makes this grunting, growling, whiney noise...and when he sees the puff container, cannot contain his excitement. We have created a puff addict. It's scary. He also loves Spaghetti. He slurps it, makes a huge mess, and gets covered head to toe with sauce. We're lucky that he loves bathtime as well!

I will eat all your spaghetti!!

That's about it on the "new" stuff. Everything is new. He loves books, loves chewing on our coffee table, loves chasing after Parker. His new thing is sharing everything with the dog. Whatever he's holding, he'll give to Parker. We promote this as much as possible!

Quick update on stats

Sorry it's been a little bit since we updated. Lots has happend since we posted last, and I'll get to that in another blog, later today :)

Carson had his 9 month check up today. It's crazy to think that he is 9 months old. He spent (a little over) 9 months inside of me, and has been on the "outside" for 9 months!

Carson's stats

Weight: 17lbs 2oz - 5th Percentile
Length: 27.5 in - 20th Percentile
Head Circumfrence: 17.5 in - 30th Percentile

The Doctor we saw said that he is a little guy. She said that it could be genetics, and that we should keep an eye on it. If it comes down to it, they might do some testing to see what is going on. But, he is incredibly active, has wet and dirty diapers...eats tons...so we are most likely just dealing with genetics.

We have lots of new things to post about, but that'll be saved for another post (hopefully tonight!)
