Mothers Day!

We had been waiting so long for it to be nice enough to play outside, and on Friday, it was definately Carsons day :) it was gorgeous out, and he kept trying to open the front door, saying "outside, outside" over and over. We lugged out his big red ball, and I let him and Parker run around out front for 2 hours. They had a great time. I had to get pictures of Carson, being the cute boy that he is :)

Going to chase the ball

He kept making these noises like the ball weighed more than he did...

Seeing how much damage he can do to my Tulips

Being a Ham :)

On Sunday, Mothers day, Adam did everything in his power to make my day incredibly relaxing. I got to sleep in, and as I walked into the dining room Carson yells "Happy Mothers Day!!" really loud. Adam taught him to say it that morning, right when he got up, and he remembered to tell me an hour later :) I had french toast (courtesy of Adam)....and really good coffee. It was so nice to just relax, take a deep breath, and enjoy my family. I loved it.
We did have to scramble to get ready, as we had a baseball game to go to. We met up with my Brother, Jerad, my Sister in Law, Lisa, and niece Lily and Elysian Fields prior to the M's game. We ate some food, had some drinks, let the kids eat and play. It was nice. Then, we were walking over to the game and came across the pig in front of Qwest Stadium. Of course they both wanted to ride it!

Carson has little itty bitty legs, he was having issues

CHEESE

They are exactly 2 weeks apart

So, from there we went to the game. Our seats were in the 300 level, but perfect. It was nice to have space for the kids, so they could play, and we could relax. There is only one picture of Carson and I from yesterday, and it was because he just wanted to stare at the game. He refused to get his picture taken. He LOVES baseball, was so enamored with it, wanted to watch it, play it....and pretty much sat for most of the game watching it
We were all getting restless, so we decided to take a trip to meet the Moose. Both Lily and Carson LOVED him. They both kept giving him high fives, waving, trying to give him kisses. After we left the Moose Den, they both kept asking "Moose? Moose?" over and over.

Meeting the Moose, they were stoked!

And we got our picture taken with the Moose :) Mind you, Lisa is due in June with their second Daughter, Molly Sophia.

Carson kept rubbing Adam's face....and we couldn't figure out why.

The boys and their kids. This goes along with the picture of when we were at the game last year and they were both wearing the diaper bags and holding the kids.

It was an amazing weekend, and I realized how fortunate I am to have a great little family, and so much love from Adam. It feels good to be rewarded from time to time with something little, even if it's just a card to say "you're doing a great job"...or "thank you". I love being a Mom, and I love the family Adam and I have created....I couldn't have asked for a better day!
Love,
Taran
