Trick or Treat!

We had a great Halloween this year. Carson went as a corgi (well, it was a puppy dog costume that looked like Parker). and he loved everything about the Trick or Treating experience. We were lucky that his costume kept him warm, and he hadn't grown TOO much out of it in the time that we bought it (we bought it from Costco last year, so it had been awhile!) He loved being a puppy.

Steve and Paula welcomed us in their home to watch some football, and then later to go trick or treating with my niece Nolan, and friend Kaelin. They were there to also help Carson out, as Nolan loved carrying his pumpkin for him. Carson didn't understand the Trick or treating experience, as he would take the candy from his pumpkin and try to give it to whomever was trying to get him candy. It was pretty cute though! He does say "trick or treat"! But was very shy about it. Luckily, Paula was smart and had a wagon for the kids to ride around in. I know that my back would have been out if Adam and I had to carry Carson around. That boy is HEAVY!

Afterwards, we stopped by Carsons daycare, where we hung out at their neighbors house and had pizza and fruit. Carson also managed to eat 2 donuts, but still ended up passed out in bed by 10 pm. Crazy kid.

Picture overload

Here are some random pictures from our day at the pumpkin patch. It's been awhile since we've updated with anything, so I figure that Carson's cute little face will cheer those that are sick, up. This is the beginning of attempting to post more. Work has been busy...and now with fall here, and cold season upon us, we've all been hit pretty hard.

As for new things, Carson is now 16 months old. At 15 months he was 21 lbs 15 oz, (15%), he's 30.5 inches (30th%) and his head is 18.5 inches (50th%).

He's growing...and is SO active. He runs, climbs up everything and loves falling off of whatever he is standing on at the moment. He talks, and is learning new words daily. He can tell you where his nose is (and says it), head, eyes, nose, ears, mouth. When you ask to see his mouth he says "CHEESE" with a fake smile. I love it. He will also tell you what vampires say, and repeats basically anything we say around the house. He loves his monkey, and he loves his dog Parker. They are always playing. We are still teaching Carson that it's not okay to pull on the dogs face, and that he doesn't like it. But so far, it's going pretty well.

It's amazing how time flies though. Last year, Carson was sitting inside of a pumpkin, and was so little. This year, we have his costume (he's going as Parker...), and he's going to go out and trick or treat (which we taught him to say!) We love our little boy though, and couldn't have asked for a better baby! Enjoy the pictures. Good Things!

So I've been saying good things were happening - and they FINALLY have!

Adam and I bought a house! We will be moving to Monroe, and will get our keys on the 25th of this month!

We are incredibly excited, the yard is huge, the house is big, and we will have so much more space!

So yes, sorry about the lack of posting updates - this process has been stressful, and work has been busy for the both of us. I have some new updates and new pics to post, so I'll be doing that soon!

14 months old

Crazy to think that we have a walking, talking, wild 14 month old here now! Time has flown, and I remember how stressed out and tired we all were this time last year!

Carson turned 14 months old yesterday. He now knows where his belly button is, and is definately not afraid to go around showing you....or looking for yours. It always makes people laugh when you are out in public and he pulls up your shirt and says "be but" (belly button)...and searches for it.

He is a very active boy, climbing on everything, ignoring us when we show him to sit on the couch and jumping on it anyways....he's crazy. We are loving it though! As I typed this, he decided to make a slip and slide in our front hallway with his sippy cup of water....that was a fun mess to clean up!

We have tons of pictures to post, but again, every weekend has been booked for the past few weeks, and this weekend is also a full one. Carson's future wife, Ava, is turning 1 on Saturday, and we will not be able to make it to Wenatchee for the party. We will be getting them together NEXT weekend! I'm excited.

So that's it, Just an update to show that we are all alive!

So I was bored and entered an old picture of Parker in a contest. I must say, he is a cute dog...and he was such an adorable puppy!

1st Haircut

A week and a half ago we decided that it was time to cut Carson's crazy-man hair. His hair was so long in some places it almost touched his shoulder! It was out of control! Instead of taking him to a kids place, we decided to go to Great Clips. He was surprisingly good! He sat like a little boy, and only twitched once (which is why the sides are a little too high for my liking). He got a sucker, and was so excited about it. Afterwards (on a 98 degree day!) we all decided to go to St. Edwards park.

Adam had his 30th birthday, and for his birthday he got a new set of golf clubs :) They are really really nice...and he loves them! He also had a Birthday Party in Wenatchee with tons of people, poker and alcohol. It was a great time!

For the 4th of July, we all went swimming at my brother's house. Carson loved his first time in the pool. He figured out he could just lay back in the floaty that we borrowed from Nolan...and he would float around. He absolutely LOVED it!!

We went to Scott and Sarah's for fireworks afterwards and realized that Carson dislikes the fireworks immensly. He'd freak out everytime he heard them. FINALLY we got him to go to sleep though! It was a rough time for a bit there.
