Family Photos

So we went and got our family pictures taken today...and we're so happy with the way they turned out! Carson was great for the first little bit, but was over having his picture taken pretty quickly. We only received 4 pictures, but were really happy with the ones that we picked out! Of course, when it came to having him take pictures with me, he was tired and done with the pictures, but at least we got one good one!!

He LOVED it that we brought his monkey, he would tackle it, throw it, jump on it. So I'm glad we brought him along to be apart of his picture taking experience.

It was a great day. Parker was there too, but none of the pictures with him turned out. He just ran around the store, acting like he owned the place.

Today was a great day though! Thought I'd share our pictures! Tomorrow, we have one of my nieces birthdays! Miss Nolan turns 4 on Monday, so the party is tomorrow. Carson is already prepared to say "Happy Birthday Nonan (what he calls her)" More pics to come!

Easter!

So our Easter weekend was packed with so many activities, by Sunday night, we were ALL incredibly exhausted.

The weekend kicked off with Adam taking Friday off, and we now have a new addition to the house! Carson got a fish that he later named Cheese. He loves his fish, loves feeding him, and constantly asks to "hold it".

We finally pulled out some hand me downs, that we got from my Aunt Tina. Carson was showing off his Nikes, and referred to them as his "fast shoes" which he promptly ran around the house showing us how Fast he is.

Saturday we woke up really early and got all ready to go to the Easter Egg hunt in my brothers neighborhood. I did this hunt when I was younger, and it's great to see Carson participate with all of his cousins. They separated the kids by age, and Carson was with the youngest group on the first Tee. He knew just what to do though, and went for the eggs.

The second he saw them, he was off!



It was hilarious to watch him put the eggs in his basket, he'd accidentally drop them through the handle and onto the ground.

We were all a little chilly, it was cloudy, not raining, but very cold...but we did the annual Easter family pic anyway!

He was not a fan of the Easter bunny, played by my niece, Regina :)

But he did get to play with a long pool noodle, and would hit things with it, so he instantly cheered up.

After spending time with my family for a few hours, filling up on yummy food, we came home and rested....

He also got into Adam's easter basket, that had chocolate at the bottom. We forgot about the basket sitting on the couch, and I came downstairs to see Carsons face covered with it. When asked if he ate chocolate, he would answer "nope".

Later in the day Erin came over, and Carson loves his "Aunt Enin" He was very excited to see her when he woke up from his nap!

We also dyed Easter Eggs that night, and later made egg salad sandwiches with them....Carson was stoked at first to dye them...

All in all, it was a great Easter.

This week, we have family pictures being taken on Saturday. The first time since Carson was 4 months old! We are really excited, and I'm struggling to pull together outfits that look good together, but aren't too "matchy", so we'll see.

Sunday, my niece, Nolan, turns 4!!! So we get to go to her birthday party. Well, her birthday isn't until Monday, the 26th, but we're getting together that Sunday. I know it'll be a fun time for everyone, and Carson sure does love his Nonan, Tato (Mateo), Bobo (Gina) and Caca (Erica)...all of his older cousins.
