Opening Day!

Jerad and Lisa were kind enough to snag some tickets when they went on sale for us to attended Opening Day with them!

Forecast was for rain, looks like the roof opening to me, suckas!

In Carson's Easter basket, he did receive a new, snazzy Mariners track suit, so it was a PERFECT time for him to wear it! I must say, he did look incredibly hadsome!

We met up with Jerad, Lisa, Lily, Lisa's mom, Danny, and Scott at Pyramid before the game. Wow, that place was packed! We were thankful that everyone got there before us, so we could get a table as soon as possible. Poor Lily was getting a tooth, and was hungry and tired!

We discovered that Carson has a love of Lemons! We gave him one of the lemon slices that came with our pitcher, and he ate all of the pulp and LOVED it! He even whined for more!

We got to the game right before they announced the players. We all got seated, and Carson loved looking at all of the people, listening to all the cheering. He was stoked to be there! Lily got him a Mariners blanket to keep him warm, which was sweet :)

He was awake for a while...then..

Jerad took Carson for all of two seconds, and Carson was out. We think it's his deep voice that puts Carson to sleep. But hey, it was great. We were able to make a bathroom/beer run....and who can complain about that?!

By the 7th inning, we were all getting a little ansty. The kids were awake, and so we all decided as a group to go walking around....and try to find the Moose. We found the Moose den, but no moose :( Oh well, Carson and Lily got lots of play time in. Carson was a little cranky at this point. He wouldn't take his bottle because it wasn't completely warm...but we made due with what we had! We all also got filmed for Mariners TV during the game. We all had to spell the managers name, as well as a pitchers name. We got the pitchers name wrong, but Adam did spell the managers name right :)

From there, we all decided to call it a night. The game was about over, and we all had a walk ahead of us. It was a perfect game, and it was a fun afternoon! We are definately looking for LOTS of games this summer!

Doctors visits!

Carson will be 10 months old on Sunday, and we had to take him in to the doctor due to his thrush issue not getting any better.

Mind you, we weighed him with a full diaper, but he was 18 lbs 10 oz! That is about a lb of weight that he gained last month alone! We are all excited for this.

I know breast-fed babies are a bit on the smaller side, and now that he's on formula, he's growing like a champ.

Carson's first Easter!

EASTER!

Easter came pretty fast this year, but it is always more exciting with a baby. I think Adam and I had so much fun planning what the "bunny" was going to get him, and excited for the easter egg hunt he went on.

Friday the 10th, Adam's parents came into town and came over to spend some time with Carson. They stayed a few hours, playing with Carson and catching up on life. Saturday morning came pretty quickly. We had to get up early for a Saturday! We were lucky, because it wasn't raining too hard when we showed up at Steve and Paula's for the hunt.

Easter Bunny Ears!

The Annual Braeburn Easter Egg Hunt started at 9:30. Carson was one of only a few little kids hunting on the first tee. One of Carson's friends from Melanies was there, his name is Dylan. He kept calling Carsons name, and showing him the eggs he was finding on the tee. Carson did better than anyone thought! He saw some eggs, crawled to one, sucked on it, found another one, sucked on that one...and then would try to figure out how to crawl with two eggs in his hands. He managed to suck on many eggs, a piece of candy...and ate some grass. All while getting muddy and soaking wet. It was great!

After the hunt, we all went to the club house where there was an Easter bunny....or, my niece, Regina, dressed as a bunny. We sat Carson on her lap, and he kept staring...it was hilarious. Nolan, who is Regina's sister, was afraid of her. Go figure!

We all went back to the house, got Carson dressed up, and hung out. Carson found a riding toy that he loved, he couldn't make it move, but he loved sitting on it. The boys eventually went and played golf, and everyone else just relaxed.

It was really a great day, I missed that hunt, as I used to take part in it when I was younger. It was great seeing Carson be a part of it!

Sunday, Adam let me sleep in! He got Carson up, fed him, and let him play. I slept in and brought down the basket the Easter Bunny left for Carson. Parker learned quickly that there were puffs inside of the eggs, and then later broke a couple open to get the treats inside.

Carson loved his M's outfit (that he later wore at the game!), as well as the puffs and the onesie that says "King of the castle".

Later on, we went over to Scott and Sarah's, where Adams parents had made an early Easter dinner. There was tons of food...it was sooo good. We watched the Masters over there, and once Tiger and Phil were out, they decided to pack up and head back over the pass. Adam and I went home and relaxed, it was a very busy and LONG weekend! But definately worth it!

Beautiful Weekends!

Oh my god, what is that light coming from the sky...sunshine!

Since the weather has been so nice as of lately, we spent a lot of time outside this weekend.

Saturday, we took Parker to the dog park at Marymoore. Carson loves looking at all the puppies. He gets "happy feet" in his stroller and kicks them like crazy. He also tries to lean over and grab for Parker when he can. He reaches for him constantly. Of course Parker is oblivious to all of this, but it doesn't make it any less cute.

We spent the rest of Saturday relaxing...as it was just nice to do nothing.

Sunday, Carson felt it was play time at 7 am (which is early for him!). So, we were up playing incredibly early. It's funny that he keeps the same schedule that he gets at daycare. He'll get up, nurse or get a bottle....and then an hour later he'll want food. At daycare he gets cereal mixed with some sort of fruit. At home he gets frozen fruit cut up, cheerios and sometimes toast. He eats so much! Then, he'll go back to playing or take a nap.

Scott came over to see Keebs on Sunday. He stayed for a bit, and left to go run errands. After Scott left, we ended up at Saint Edwards Park to do some walking with Parker, and playing on the playground with Carson.

First of all, I was not dressed for a hike. It was pretty warm, I was wearing flip flops. We ended doing a half a mile hike. Parker and Carson LOVED it. Parker loves running around, attempting to chase squirrels and Carson loved the trees and nature. After the hike, we decided to let Carson try out the baby swing. At first Carson did not know what to do with himself. He sat hunched over, kind of scared. We only pushed him lightly though. Then, he got into it, was kicking his feet and smiled. He loved the swing! He also loved watching all of the "big kids" running around.

Adam had the flu, but still managed a .5 mile hike...

So that was our weekend. Parker loves getting his daily walks in the sun, Carson loves going along with him....

This week is busy with work. This weekend is Easter, and we'll definately have lots of pictures!
